Google Pay
Google Pay is an Easy, Secure and Private way to make purchases.
As Easy as 1, 2, 3
- Look for the Pay Wave or GooglePay symbol at checkout, unlock your device (the app doesn’t have to be open).
- Hold your phone near the merchant’s contactless reader.
- Continue holding the phone near the contactless reader until your phone vibrates or beeps with an on-screen confirmation that the payment was made.
Secure
- When you use Google Pay for purchases, a virtual account number is created specifically for your card on your device. Your BFG Debit Mastercard number isn’t stored on your phone or given to the merchant with your payment.
- Screen lock must be enabled to use Google Pay.
Private
Your name, card number and security code is never revealed to merchants since Google Pay uses a virtual account number to represent your BFG Debit Mastercard. Google Pay doesn’t store your BFG Debit Mastercard number on your device.

The first card you add to Google Pay will automatically become your default card.
